D'Angelo Russell shows his gifts on Christmas night while Evan Turner couldn't miss two days after.

Mike Conley, PG, Memphis Grizzlies

An increasing trend for Mike Conley continues to come in the scoring column. After averaging 16.5 per night last week, Conley was back to is scoring ways this week. In all four games, the 6'1, 175-pounder scored 15 or more points and ended with an 18.8 PPG average. Maybe more impressive is the fact that he did it while being efficient as well, outside of one below average night. Conley was a 49% shooter this week from the field and even knocked down all but one of his free throws. Not to be forgotten, Conley also had a nice dishing week with five assists per night and added 3.5 rebounds.

Best Performance: What a night it was for Conley on Sunday against the Lakers. The Grizzlies guard put together a very efficient 19 point night. Conley was 7-of-11 from the field and finished with a 63.6 FG% -- his second highest of the year. To top it off, Conley also added four rebounds, five assists, four steals and Memphis was +26 with the former Buckeye on the floor.

Team Record: 18-16

Upcoming Games: 1/2 @ Utah Jazz, 1/4 @ Portland Trail Blazers.

Kosta Koufos, C, Sacramento Kings

This week could have treated Kosta Koufos much better on the hardwood. The 7-footer played just 17.0 minutes per game this week which means he didn't have very much time to be effective. He was able to score four points in both of the Kings contests and racked up a solid +14 in a victory against the Indiana Pacers two days prior to Christmas. With that being said, Koufos didn't have any effort worthy of "best performance" acknowledgement. Koufos sat out in the final game of the week against the Golden State Warriors due to an illness. We'll see what next week brings for the former Buckeye big man.

Team Record: 12-19

Upcoming Games: Tonight vs Philadelphia 76ers, 1/2 vs Phoenix Suns, 1/4 @ Oklahoma City Thunder, 1/5 @ Dallas Mavericks.

D'Angelo Russell, SG, Los Angeles Lakers

While having a poor scoring and shooing week last week, D'Angelo Russell did the complete opposite this time around. It was a little over six points per game week for Russell last week and he combined that with a 28.6 FG%. Sure enough, Russell was not going to let that happen this week as he tallied 12.3 points this week. As for the efficiency, Russell was surely pleased with a 45.3% week -- a nice 16.7 point jump in the percentage. Russell also tied his second best shooting game of the season when he drained four of seven three's in a contest this week. Lastly, the first year man added three rebounds per night and 2.5 assists in all four of the Lakers losses.

Best Performance: It was a Christmas day to remember for Russell when his Lakers faced off against the Clippers on ESPN. It certainly wasn't his finest performance to date but the rookie but together a solid effort as the purple and gold came up short despite a respectable comeback. Russell knocked down 7 of his 13 shot attempts (53.8%) including two three-pointers. The 19-year old also did some good things on the glass. Russell would depart from the Staples Center with 16 points and seven rebounds on the night.

Team Record: 5-27

Upcoming Games: Tonight @ Boston Celtics, 1/1 vs Philadelphia 76ers, 1/3 vs Phoenix Suns, 1/5 vs Golden State Warriors.

Jared Sullinger, PF, Boston Celtics

In what some may consider a shocker at this point, Jared Sullinger was unable to reach the double-double mark this week. Sullinger has eight on the year so far and despite coming up short , he came really close to getting his ninth on two occasions this week. With that being said, it was a bit of a down week for Sully. He was only able to find his way to a 7 points and eight rebounds per game. It's still fairly solid but a drop from the previous week nonetheless.

Best Performance: On the 26th, the day after Christmas, Sully and the Celtics mixed it up with the Pistons in the Motor City. Despite his week low 21 minutes, the former Northland (OH) product was still able to pitch in with a nice 10 point, eight rebound game in the Boston win. Sullinger was also efficient in defeat of Detroit as he successfully finished 55.6% of his shots (5-9).

Team Record: 18-13

Upcoming Games: Tonight vs Los Angeles Lakers, 1/2 vs Brooklyn Nets, 1/4 @ Brooklyn Nets.

Evan Turner, SF, Boston Celtics

Evan Turner saw a increase in his scoring numbers this week -- a trend that is on it's third week now. Turner was able to eclipse the double-figure scoring average despite a game in which he failed to score any points. Luckily for ET and Boston, he followed that performance up with a 13 point game and a 19 point game to put the effort behind him.

Best Performance: When Turner put up a shot on Sunday against the Knicks, it was more than likely going to be good. The Celtics wing put together his best shooting night of the season when he drained eight of his 11 attempts (72.7%) which was good for 19 points. Turner also contributed on the glass with five rebounds and also had two assists. In the victory in which Turner would get 30 minutes of burn, he also finished the night with a +10 for Boston.

Team Record: 18-13

Upcoming Games: Tonight vs Los Angeles Lakers, 1/2 vs Brooklyn Nets, 1/4 @ Brooklyn Nets.
