All I'm looking for is ideas. I'm going to figure out the data portion of it. (I hope). Just anything that has at least 4 variables I could use to draw my data analysis.
College choices: price, location (city setting or small college town), student population, choice of majors

Geez, grad's working hard on this one. OK, I'll chip in.

Cargo/Transportation Company.

Cost of Vehicles (sticker price)
Capacity of Vehicles (sq. ft. cargo space)
Fuel Costs (price of gas)
Fuel Economy (miles per gallon)
Maintenance Costs (service/repair)

All these would vary depending on the type of vehicle (Pickup truck, Cube truck-Ryder truck, Semi-Trailer)

Cost of vehicle, fuel and maintenance would change depending on location across the country.

Pictures please ...

first off statistics sucks. if you take out the sports out of it, there is no way it can be any fun at all.

however you mentioned partial nudity and that is statistically proven to get my attention 100% of the time.

one part of my job is to analyze (emphasis on the anal of course...) our extruder performance. i got spreadsheets all cooked up with all our relevant line settings and our PVC production rates at those settings. i have it broke down by extruder line, pvc formula, and about 30 different machine settings. what we are really looking for when i do this for real is which settings or combination thereof produces PVC the fastest. none of the results are suprising at all since they are all predicted from extrusion theory, but it is nice to show the line operators and foremen that i am not just talking out my ass when i make suggestions. personally i use it as a teaching tool and ignore most of the data myself. it does show me how accurate the line operators actually are in recording their machine settings.

i don't know if one of those spreadsheets would be of use or not, but i got them available if it is. i would have to strip them down of the pricing information and other stuff that we don't want getting out, but there should be enough there to do something with i imagine.

obviously i wouldn't want our company name or my name used or anything like that either. the trading of data for titties is frowned upon in our corporate handbook for some reason. man this country is way too uptight.

one final note. i use OpenOffice.org and not excel for this. most of the office uses excel though and i have never ever had a problem getting my open office documents opening up in MS applications. i can save the document in an excel format or just about any other spreadsheet format though so this shouldn't be a problem regardless of what program you use.

open office is abosolutely free and i couldn't recommend it more.

this post was made possible by the miracle that is bass ale. damn that is some fine ass shit.
