DB Cameron Burrows (Official Thread)

I am excited to see Cam roaming the field at safety next year. I think Schiano will play a lot of single and double high safeties in an effort to be a "bend but don't break" defense as the defense grows. If Cam is 100%, he's a guy a lot of people have forgotten about. Good coverage skills, not a great fill the box run stopper, but will definitely be able to make some plays in the passing game. And he wont be looking over his shoulder at Vinn Bell taking his snaps.

Anyways, just a guy I thought who should be bumped and has been lost in the shuffle amongst all the early entry talk. My guess is Smith and Burrows man the safety spots with Conley and Webb on outside but I believe our corners will be getting a lot of help next year over the top. Eli Apple is going to be sorely missed.

Just realized this guy is a senior. I have no idea what is leadership skills are like but you can bet I'd have some conversations with him if I was coach. In fact I find it very interesting/brilliant that coach named 3 captains for '16 already. Because you know we end up with at least one more by the time the season starts. And you have JT and Pat from the offense but just Kwon on D. Which begs the question: if we end up with 4 captians and the last one comes from D side to keep it even, who will it be? Would absolutely love to see Cam step up to the plate.

Been rooting for PT for Cam since he signed from a very talented Trotwood team. He's become more of a jack of all trades instead of a shutdown CB or a ball hawking S. I'm hoping that he can put it all together for his final season and lead some of the younger players along the way
