Sometimes he is just too busy trying to take other players heads off or doing too much yakking. Yesterday, he just played solid football and I hope he continues with that next season.

Bryant can definitely be a leader. I think if he plays a little more sound, and wraps up ALL THE TIME, plus curbs the 15 yard Personal Fouls, our secondary will be great. I can't remember how many times last year our D would make a stop only to be put right back on the field by a 15 yarder. This kid has all the tools!

Striking out on Joyner, but getting Bryant sure looks pretty good in hindsight. Though christian can cause frusteration at times, he's been one of the most fun buckeyes to watch on defense while in S&G

I felt that way as soon as it became apparent Joyner came with a proverbial 'third uncle,' and we all know how Urban feels about recruits' third uncles.

Joyner was a recruit during the Tressel years.

Bryant took a lot of heat in the past about his reckless play. Over the last 6 games of the season, he was probably our 3rd or 4th best player on defense. I'm expecting big things from him this year.

100% agree. It will be interesting to see how he starts this season relative to how he finished last season. He shined very early in his career as a very young player but seemed to lose some control of his responsibilities as a safety. I suspect he'll be a very solid and reliable safety this season. We need it.

I would like him to play more reliable, but not lose that killer instinct, "take your head off" mentality that he's had while in s&g. Its been this mentality that has put fear in WRs going across the middle. I would just like him to rein in that aggresion and use it in certain situations, as opposed to every play. Hopefully with experience and seasoning he has learned this
