This is a red flag for me.

Some kids like attention, others don't. I'd prefer Ohio State recruits to be a little further towards the "don't" end of the scale.

There is a huge difference between being confident and other things- although I don't see what that has to do with this specific event.

I know next to nothing about Damon Webb or his recruitment to this point and I am not trying to imply anything negative about either.

That said, the report above regarding not making a statement by wearing Ohio State gear is my first impression and it raises a red flag for me as something to keep an eye on moving forward. That is all.

Kid is playing the game to get visits for him and his teammates, only thing is he'll probably decide before his senior year. No different than the Glenville kids.

Damon Webb plans visits to his top four

DETROIT -- One of the top juniors in the Midwest, Damon Webb (Detroit/Cass Tech) lived up to his billing on Saturday night.

In a game pitting two 2011 state champions, Webb forced a fumble, recovered two and sealed the win with a touchdown at the end.

?The last interception I was playing regular man coverage and the quarterback just underthrew it,? Webb said.

The 2014 cornerback has a top four of LSU, Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State. He plans to visit all four this season.
