I mean, I was sorta dunking over a Frenchman when I said that, but one doesn't decide Utah over Ohio State unless there were other reasons at work. Some have speculated an out was the catalyst, and seems to me it probably was. Early signing, along with the portal is certainly a new dynamic

Not really that's why thinking you must sign early signing day is stupid as fuck.. For those that know their decision and have for a while early signing day is nice. It get's it over with and prevents them from being Harbuaghed if a better recruit comes knocking at the end of Feb. When you aren't ready and you just jump to make a decision any decision cause OMG I have to sign early signing day I must sign with someone it's an issue.

How many kids sign thinking their school is the place for them and then woops they lose their position coach or their head coach? Kids should have an out if their school loses their coach before the original signing day in Feb.
