This kid pushes for time...early.

Agreed. I think Jeffrey, Wade and Sheffield are all going to get PT (those are my front runners anyways).

VIDEO: MEET SELECT '17 FIVE-STAR CORNERBACK JEFFREY OKUDAH

Ohio State is releasing a video profile of each Select '17 early enrollee every day until National Signing Day on Feb. 1st. Five-star cornerback Jeffrey Okudah is the next on the docket.

Hailing from South Prairie, Texas, the No. 1 cornerback of the class ended his recruitment without drama on Jan. 7th when he committed to Ohio State during the U.S. Army All-American Game.

Okudah, in the video above, describes himself as a versatile, athletic technician that's willing to learn. "I'm willing to take in everything I can."

Okudah cites his mother and her trials and tribulations as to what motivates him. He also cites a connection with Kerry Coombs as a reason for ending up in Columbus.

Events like this in life--the bad,bad times--reveal character. I don't know these people, but what I read tells me that this young man has been truly blessed to have the guidance of a wonderful mother. God bless her and the family. This too shall pass but never be forgotten in their lives.
