JORDAN FULLER
After three years as a starter at Ohio State, Jordan Fuller's now looking to make a splash at the next level with the Los Angeles Rams, and it looks like he's already making an impression.



Fuller had to wait until the sixth round to hear his name called in the NFL Draft, but he's hoping he won't have to wait long to have his number called in the Rams lineup.

Fuller, selected in the sixth round of this year’s NFL draft by the Los Angeles Rams, was also among the rookie standouts on the league’s opening Sunday. The former Ohio State safety was a starter for his first NFL game and led the Rams with eight tackles, including a crucial fourth-down tackle on fellow rookie CeeDee Lamb early in the fourth quarter, in their 20-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Jordan Fuller made a splash in the first game of his NFL career. After a team-high eight tackles — including a game-changing stop on fourth down late — in the Los Angeles Rams' 20-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys , he drew high praise from star teammates such as defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

"He's a young that stepped up for us and made a big play for us to help us win this game," said Donald, a six-time Pro Bowl pick and five-time All-Pro selection. "He's out there on that field playing for a reason, you know, to make plays like that and help us."

Cornerback Jalen Ramsey echoed Donald's sentiments. Fuller, whom the Rams selected April 25 from Ohio State with the No. 199 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, has been flashing for the past month.

"Jordan has been balling all camp," said Ramsey, a three-time Pro Bowl pick and one-time All-Pro selection. "We are happy to have him in our secondary and he's been playing extremely well, so we expected him to do that again tonight. Very proud of him, glad to have him a part of this team."

Los Angeles Rams safety Jordan Fuller is back on the injury list. The rookie out of Ohio State was placed on the injured reserve list on Tuesday with a shoulder injury the Rams announced. This means that Fuller will miss at least three weeks and is eligible to return in Week 10.
