CB Sevyn Banks (transfer to LSU)

Finished #3 Nike Rating at recent Nike Opening regional. 4.5 laser and 42" vert. Combine that with very good sophomore film, and it looks like we got a prospect with some serious potential.

His score is also good for #7 in the nation so far this year. Very impressive.
That's what I'm saying. This kid isn't the no201 player in the country. Injury just left ???s. players like Florida hesitated and lost. Wait until he gets rolling in camps and next season and he'll rocket up.

Best edit I've seen. Also should be yet another piece of evidence for the star chasers and rumor makers out there that the staff does in fact want this guy.
Are they rumors when the info is coming from a leading OSU writer for 247(Kurelic) and an 11W writer(Andrew Ellis)? The edit looks great, but in recruiting don't get too emotional over "committed" players. None of these commits is a Buckeye until they sign on the dotted line

My bad, touché. Was just trying to share info. But it can be seen as rumors.

I appreciate you and anyone else bringing info to the board - that's what this place is for, right? As it relates to Sevyn and those rumors, I'm just not buying what those writers are selling. You have an elite athlete with outstanding sophomore film who unfortunately was injured last year, and a position coach with more clout than any position coach in the country. "Listen, I know you're churning out 1st round CBs at an unprecedented rate, and I know this kid is one of the best athletes in the country, but I don't want you to take him." Just doesn't sound realistic. Healthy debate during evaluation obviously happens, but it's hard to believe that Coombs doesn't have free reign when it comes to who he wants in his room at this point.

I was thinking the same exact thing! I brought to the board to see if any of our Mods had heard anything similar. Because up until that point I had heard nothing but positive vibes from Sevyn and only see how well he fits in this defense.
