Good interview with a very grounded and humble young man...same top three but says anything could happen and he is not focusing on recruiting. Vonn likes Coach Meyer and says he will win anywhere.

tOSU, Bama and UT continue to be the top 3...mentioned key criteria of decision being: depth chart, relationship/communication with coaches and feeling of home.

Vonn Bell maintains top 3 after UT visit

ShowMeBuck You know what? Chicken butt.

What's the depth chart looking like for us?

Buckeneye With Rumple Minz, anything is possible.

Frosh or not - if he can ball he'll see the field.
Judging by our safety play he'll get time.
If not we'll have two seniors back they're.
Not like he'll have to wait until his junior year to play.

OSU's depth chart has to look great to Bell. Given the Star lineup (which OSU uses more than half the time) there are really three safeties on the field at OSU. One of the starters (Johnson) is graduating and the other two will be seniors next year.

The only young safety who has shown promise has been Bogard and he just tore his ACL. Bell would have an excellent chance to be in the lineup as a true freshman and would be a cinch to start as a true soph.
  7. A chance to be a starter at safety if we move Bryant to star as FR, and chance to be a starter at any of the three safety/star spots by SO. What more can you ask from a depth chart point of view.

If he takes an in-depth look at the safety play this season, I think it's pretty safe to say he'll challenge right away. Tons of trouble back there.

    Team done?

On max preps it looked like Rossville (GA) Ridgeland lost their last game in the state playoffs. Are they finished with their season, or is there still more season left? Usually High Schools finish about now, so I would hope there would be an opportunity for Bell to visit for a game.

Coach Mark Mariakis says Vonn is down to Ohio State, Tennessee and Alabama with all three being even. He is not sure about official visits but thinks he will take The Game to see tOSU's atmosphere.

Dooley fired... Let's see if that hurts Tennessee's chances.
