Combs was supposedly recruiting recently. All the coaches are in place till the 10th so who knows. If we hire another coach or 2 that probably gives you an idea if not till the 2nd ?????

If it’s the former and Coombs is retained, Kerry should be on the where his emotion has value.

Didn’t like the arrangement with Kerry upstairs and Barnes of the field.

I just checked the tape. They showed him in the booth in the Big12 Champ against Baylor.

I didn’t see any shots of him in the Bedlam game against OU but I only skimmed. Don’t have time to watch a full broadcast lol.

He’s in the booth again. That should answer that, though it could change.

I like the DC and OC in the booth so they can see everything developing. I like the unit coaches down with their units so they can coach em up and get em fired up when necessary. Coombs on the sideline and Knowles in the booth alone will give us a spark imo.

I'm assuming he's coaching Ok State in their bowl game, which just happens to be against our first opponent next season.

If I was Day I send Knowles a copy of The Game and tell him, "Start game planning now."

From what I read he is kind of a savant, who adjusts manically with each game. That is a booth person. They need to see what is going on as a whole to develop a plan.

One of the big issues the last two seasons was there was hardly any noticeable half time adjustments happening. The D seemed like sitting ducks.

The greatest thing about Hafley, is it seemed like after halftime, somehow every issue was either fixed or minimized.

Hopefully Knowles is able to do that.
