DT Cameron Heyward (6x Pro Bowl, 3x All Pro, Pittsburgh Steelers)

That is a terrible way for any team to end its season! I absolutely hate that they allow for ties. Ohio at least was smart enough to start with OT a few years back.

Now come on north Cameron and get a Big Ten, and a National Championship ring! (OR FOUR!)

I feel that confident of the talent they have accumulated in Columbus!!!!!!!!

GO BUCKS!

Film.

My take: Shows good speed and footwork for his size. Will need to work on his strength and technique quite a bit as he seems to be moved fairly easily. Some work with a coach like Heacock will benefit him greatly...little things like getting out of his stance quicker will make Cameron a much better player. Hopefully more film will be available.

Heyward: ?Still Georgia, LSU, Florida and Ohio State?

AJC Super Southern 100 defensive tackle Cameron Heyward of Peachtree Ridge said late Tuesday he?s still mulling over offers from four Division I powers.

?Right now, it?s still Georgia, LSU, Florida and Ohio State,? Heyward told the AJC?s Jeff Hood.

When asked if the outcome of bowl games and announcement of underclassmen from those schools jumping to the NFL will impact his decision, he replied by saying ?No, sir.?

The 6-foot-6, 280-pound Heyward said he still plans to visit LSU and Florida later this month. He refused to predict if he might make a commitment prior to signing day.

?I can?t put an exact date on it,? Heyward said. ?When I feel comfortable, that?s when I?ll make the decision.?

BCS title game has all of Heyward's attention

Heyward has gotten a little pregame insight from a friend on the Ohio State team ? linebacker James Laurinaitis. The two got to know each other on Heyward's visit to Ohio State in the fall. Laurinaitis recently became the first sophomore to win the Bronko Nagurski Trophy as the top defensive player in the nation.

"He said it's fun up there right now," Heyward said. "[But they know] they have to handle their business."

just heard BK on 1460 in Columbus, said he thinks OSU has as good a shot as anybody at Cameron, a couple of weeks ago he couldn't forsee Heyward picking OSU but now he can.

i'm really intrigued by Cameron Heyward. he's got offers from some big-time programs but his recruitment seems to have been really low-key. at 6'6 280 and the athleticism to play hoops, i think he's a potential monster.

Fantastic Opportunity for Heyward

Cameron Heyward can be the only DT in the 2007 class if he chooses the Bucks. All these other schools have DTs already verballed. I don't think there is a better opportunity for Cameron. He's wanted at tOSU and our coaching staff will help make him a future NFL No. 1 draft pick like Quinn Pitcock.
