DT Cameron Heyward (6x Pro Bowl, 3x All Pro, Pittsburgh Steelers)

No doubt if I were a UGA staffer I would want Cam in for an official. I am not a big fan of recruits saying, "I have been there so many times I do not need to officially visit my home state school(s)." So, it could mean a number of things and it is a good thing we only have to wait 3 weeks to find out exactly what it all boils down to.

Having the last official is great .... if the kid makes it that far without committing to someone else.

The only thing that is a little strange to me is why he moved the Ohio State visit back a week instead of just taking his UGA visit right b4 signing day, unless that was due to the UGA staff thinking they could seal him up b4 his tOSU visit or if our staff wanted to make sure we got the last visit.

My thoughts exactly. Hopefully we'll see him on campus before NLOID.

The Bulldogs' two main targets remain Darien, Ga., defensive end/linebacker Allen Bailey and Suwanee, Ga., defensive tackle Cameron Heyward. Bailey is scheduled to visit Athens on Jan. 26, but Heyward does not plan to make an official visit to Georgia. He visited LSU this weekend and will visit Florida and Ohio State in the next two weeks, but said Georgia is still in the running for his services.
Bailey and Heyward "are the two most-important players the Bulldogs have left on their wish list," said Dean Legge, publisher of Scout.com's Georgia Web site, Dawgpost.com. "If Georgia can sign those two they will end the season with a little recruiting momentum."

Heyward on the road
The mother of Peachtree Ridge star Cameron Heyward said he plans to take all of his official visits before making any decision. "He's just going to wait until he's visited everywhere so he doesn't rush into a decision," Charlotte Heyward-Blackwell said Tuesday. Heyward will visit Florida this weekend and Georgia the following weekend. He'll visit Ohio State the first weekend of February.

How would Cameron compare to some of the other DL guys we have been after this year namely Still?

Is he more of a DE/DT combo player (D. Patterson) or does he project to one position. If we are able to land him, where do you see him playing?
