Lake Taylor defensive end Jalyn Holmes already has a state title but he wants another one.

Holmes also is highly recruited like Brown. He recently narrowed his long list to Clemson, Ohio State and Florida State.

?Right now, it?s a three-way tie,? he said. ?All three are a good situation. And I?m real close to all of the coaches.?

Holmes said it was always his dream to go to Florida State but he?s very high on all three schools.

?It?s going to come down to where I feel most comfortable and which players take me in the most,? said Holmes, who is rated the No. 31 prospect nationally by MaxPreps and No. 44 by 247Sports. ?Athletic-wise they are all the same.?

Holmes, 6-5 and 235 pounds, said he never dreamed he?d be in this situation but said many people kept telling him he?d be a big-time recruit since he was in the 9th grade.

?I honestly didn?t see all this coming,? he said.

Holmes ? along with Brown ? will be in Chicago this weekend for the second annual Five-Star Challenge.

He then has visits to Clemson on June 12, Ohio State on June 19 and Florida State on July 12.

So when will he make a decision?

?I don?t have a set time,? he said. ?It?s going to be something in my heart that tells me which school is for me.?
