Keep an eye on this one...

Love his controlled aggression. Keeps contain really well when rushing the passer and breaks his feet down right when he gets to the QB. I like his movement and range in space too...I think he would be a perfect LEO (if we keep running that position) or OLB in a 3-4 scheme.

I see him, J. Perry, Spence, and Fowler all OLB's in a 3-4. Does anyone see us trending that way?

I see Spence and Fowler as DE's, with Perry as a LB. Fowler and Spence are in the 6-4 range with room to get around 250-270...both are athletic enough to occasionally drop back in coverage like Will Smith did. As for Marcus, I really think his measurables and strengths suit him as an OLB.

He doesn't have blazing speed (although he's plenty fast), but he sure reaches his top speed awfully fast. He's also extremely disciplined and reads the game well. I'd like to see more clips of him getting off blocks, as most the plays he made were when he was unblocked, but that certainly doesn't mean he can't get off blocks. I'd definitely say Shazier is a good comparison.

Reminds me of Tyler Moeller's HS film quite a bit, except he seems to accelerate much more quickly (which really says something, b/c Tyler was a bullet at 210-215 lbs) and plays with a Speilman/Laurinaitis sense of "see ball, kill ball". A LEO prospect that looks like he's equally comfortable playing standing or with his hand in the dirt... gotta love that versatility. Would not mind seeing him play for the good guys.
