Sophmore film.

My take: This is 21's area of expertise, but I honestly was fairly impressed considering this is a sophmore playing DE at 6-3. If he continues to grow I would not be surprised to see this kid be highly recruited. Shows great athleticism and obviously has some strength as well. Seems to have a nose for the ball. Rivals lists him as a LB but I think he will grow into a DE.

I went to the UHS and South Range game on Fri. The frist play of the game, Turner destroyed the LT and tackled both the LT and QB. South Range couldn't handle him or anyone else from UHS for that matter.

I couldn't believe when I looked in the program that this kid in only a sophomore. He looks like a senior already. Tremendous speed. Tons of potential.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it yet since it isn't officially uploaded on the the site, but scoutingohio.com has sophomore video of Turner. If his grades are OK, I'd be shocked if he didn't have an offer at some point during his junior season. 23 sacks as a soph, and video shows every single one of them. He has amazing burst off the ball, and absolutely destroys the quarterback.

Reminds me a lot of Thad Gibson...

Actually, what's amazing is that he's getting all these sacks without having developed a good first step yet. And that will definitely come. How quick he closes on the QB is pretty crazy, a great LEO prospect down the road, like Gibson.

Hopefully he's a Buckeye fan.

What an amazing athlete...I also have a feeling Jamel still has some growing to do. He is going to be a top player in '10 guranteed...looks like '10 in Ohio is going to be sick.
