DE Jamel Turner (Butler Community College; transfer to Akron)

Just got home to find this out - we get Moeller back now this happens. Just please, can our players get a break?

Prayers for Jamel and the family of the girl that was killed. Hopefully he'll pull through and be on the straight & narrow. Y'town is a pretty rough city.

There is much more at stake in this situation than just football. I am very pleased to see that this point is not just my own. Prayers and support are needed in a profound way. I hope this young man survives and that he escapes the culture of violence. What will it take for all to learn? Y-town is a rough town but how does one escape from that?

Only time will tell, and I pray for a better outcome for all.

The tragic death of the young woman involved can never be repaired.

A huge part of American culture is de-evolving and becoming more culturally bankrupt.

Your final statement is soooooooooo true. A subject which could be talked about for 1000 pages and still not come to a conclusion.

Now to hijack the tread BACK to the subject at hand----I'll continue to have this young man and the young girls family in my prayers.

Haven't been on here lately, anyone know the latest on Jamel? How he's doing or if he's been sent home from the hospital?

Pretty sure that I read on the scout board that the family won't be releasing any more info
