Most Draft picks in the NFLneed the money now ..Joey is in a unique position because of his family situation. The reason the Union is weak is because the owners are a strong group. Joey could enter the draft next year and be in a better situation but he will give up a few million to do it.

BUT, he won't be playing for a team he doesn't want to sign with. Amazing how those who have used, and benefited most from, free enterprise have no interest to extending that "free" part to those they hire.

Honestly I hope he sits out the year... all the football he's played it may be good for his body anyways to take a break. I'd tell the chargers to either take the compromise or pound sand.

I'd honestly be a bit disappointed if joey and his camp mend to their demands.

Me too but that's a huge risk. You're looking at millions of dollars, guaranteed. It's tough to do the right thing with that kind of temptation there.

The draft is inherently anti free enterprise but the union bargained most of it away including the slotting of salaries for draft picks in the guise of helping the veteran players earn more. Right or Wrong.

Meh sign the deal but basically use loan shark terms on any delayed money... Want to pay me next year .. then you pay me 500% interest on the portion your waiting to pay me... Team would never go for it.. but would be funny
