DE Joey Bosa (Def ROY, 3x Pro Bowl, Los Angeles Chargers)

Very good chance San Diego would be 7-0 if he was playing like this out of the gate, signed and prepped. Getting pressure on the opposing QB is possibly the biggest game-changer of all in football, except maybe for a RB who can't be stopped. Giants beating the Pats, Bucks beating the 'Canes, Florida over the Bucks (sorry)....etc.

What the San Diego sports writers are saying about Joey Bosa.....

Joey Bosa looks like Chargers' brightest star

Joey Bosa is headed places no Charger has ever gone.

That is as much about who he is as how he plays.

Bosa was born to be this guy, bred to be this guy. He is represented by the world’s largest agency. He has a nonchalant charisma that belies yet complements his ferocious playing style.

His is an extremely engaging kind of condescension – like you know that he knows that you know you aren’t as cool as him, and it’s OK with everyone.

He speaks in a soft monotone. The casting call for his role in the “Joey Bosa Story” would be part Jeff Spicoli, part John Rambo.

And, yes, the best part, the imperative before all the rest, is watching him play. He struts onto the field for warm-ups in a jersey and helmet that look too small. He looks ready to fight between snaps and imposes his will during them. The only thing reigning him in are the sidelines.

Looks like the San Diego Chargers and Dallas Cowboys hit their No. 3 and No. 4 overall picks out of the park.

Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa and Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, a pair Ohio State fans remember well, earned NFL Rookie of the Month honors on Wednesday for their tears through October.

Chargers management probably kicking themselves. Could easily be 7-3 and leading their division instead of 4-6 with little to no chance at the playoffs if they could have had some QB pressures in the first month of the season. Nope, insisted instead on trying to save a couple bucks.
