DE Jonathon Cooper (2nd Team All American, Denver Broncos)

Kid is making a ton of plays but I wonder if he doesn't have a future at OLB at Ohio State. He isnt terribly large framed or "long" but he's very quick and evidently strong. Of course he could always add a couple inches too so who really knows. Glad he's wearing Scarlet and Gray in any case.

I think he can bulk up and put on at least 20-30 good pounds of muscle and stay on the edge

ARMY BOWL: COOPER, MCCALL, MACK LEAD BUCKEYE COMMITS IN SAN ANTONIO

Jonathon Cooper

Cooper finished the game with 4 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. Most impressive was his motor. The Gahanna native hustled on every play from snap to whistle. A player with his passion for the game should make great strides under the tutelage of Larry Johnson Sr.

In the first quarter No. 8, Nigel Warrior, stacks up the running back then Cooper (No. 35) cleans him up.

Below is a highlight of Jonathon Cooper creating a 3-yard tackle for loss. Watch Cooper get in position to make the play by fighting off the right tackle. The future Buckeye is nonstop.

I am going on record and saying since Nick Bosa gets so much hype, deservedly because I think he is better than Joey at that point in his career, that Cooper is going to flourish under the radar for a while. I think Nick and Cooper are going to make each other better from everything I have read about each of them and their respective work ethics.

I can see them being the best tandem of DEs in the country 3 years from now. I think they are going to both be scary good and I pity the QBs that have to face them.

I can't believe how much Jonathon has filled-out in the last 12 months or so. Dude looks like an animal

Very impressive film. For all intents and purposes, he took away the run to whichever side of the line he was on. With getting to OSU early, I'm eager to see what kind of role he's going to have on next year's team, because he's talented enough to keep a redshirt off of him

Hoping they give us what we almost had with Spence and J. Bosa.
