The Chicago Bears have reached an injury settlement with Lawrence Wilson, an undrafted rookie free agent from Ohio State.

Wilson, who had a torn ACL, among other injuries during his college career, is believed to have suffered a knee injury in rookie minicamp.

The Bears waived Wilson on May 28. After he cleared waivers, he reverted back to the team?s injured reserve list. Now, he will be a free agent.

Wilson had an injury-plagued collegiate career, but was productive when healthy. As a senior in 2009, Wilson played in all 13 games for the Buckeyes, and recorded 23 total tackles, two sacks, three tackles for loss and an interception. As a junior in 2008, Wilson returned to the starting lineup after missing 2007 with a broken leg, but later tore an ACL after making 18 tackles in seven games.
