DE Nick Bosa (Pro Bowl, All Pro, 2019 ROY, 2022 DPOY, San Francisco 49ers)

Are you saying that because of his recovery timeframe or because he would be risking his NFL draft status?
A lot of the former and a little of the latter.

Based on what he has said in interviews and how much he seems to love Ohio State and want his shot at a shot at a National Championship, I would be very surprised if he sat out because of his NFL draft status or combine health if OSU was headed to the BIG championship undefeated or with a playoff and natty is on the on the line.
What else was he supposed to say? Now, if he were no-shit 105% back to normal I could see him return to play. But unless he's got that assurance, he'd be stupid to risk his position as the #1 or #2 pick.

Agreed, if he's not 100% he shouldn't risk it. We're on the same page. BTW, I wonder if he has that insurance policy for assessed first round picks?

Heard an interview with an orthopedic surgeon on 105.7 who said he would expect at least 4-6 weeks, but maybe up to 12. Depending on the exact nature and extent of the tear.

REALLY bummed to hear that news, Nick has been so much fun to watch this year. Really hope he has a quick recovery and can finish the season strong. I also do not think Nick is a player that would sit out in the playoffs if we have the chance to make a run at the NC, but would not blame him at all if he made that decision after this injury. Hope it doesn't come to that and he is back good as new towards Week 10 or so. Speedy recovery Nick!

No injury would knock him out of the top 5 IMO.

Awful news. There's no replacing Bosa but hopefully the rest of the guys are good enough to make a run at all of the goals. Next man up.
We will definately have to bring a little more pressure to replace what Bosa does for us in 9 days. If we can get through that game without Nick the teams confidence will be sky high.

The game to watch out for IMO if we can beat PED is Purdue. Pass rush against them is need and we need to get home.

I'm more concerned with Indiana. They've look good this far.
Concerning Nick, if we get him back for scUM, the BIG Ten championship game and the playoffs I would be very happy.
