Ok, I’m not jealous of Nick, he’s worked hard to get where he’s at.

But I scrolled through enough of those TikToks to be jealous of a damn dog.

College football: 25 biggest what-ifs of the 2010s

16. Nick Bosa doesn’t get hurt

Ohio State is always amongst a small handful of teams pegged as an early-season favorite. But in 2018, many believed they were the best team in the country. Sure quarterback Dwayne Haskins played a major role in that thought process, he did, after all, end the season by throwing for 50 touchdowns, only eight interceptions and completed 70% of his passes.

Still, despite the gaudy numbers, it was all-world defensive end Nick Bosa, who had the pulse of this squad.

From the moment he first stepped onto the field in 2016, he was a monster. The year prior, Bosa ended his year registering 34 total tackles and 16 sacks. He appeared to be on his way to an even better year in 2018. Through three games, Bosa recorded four sacks and 14 tackles.

Bosa’s dominance was ultimately short-lived as his season came to an end after having surgery on his core. The Buckeyes still went on to have a stellar season and finished in the third spot in the College Football Playoffs. With that said, they were bounced in the opening round by Clemson. How much of a difference could Bosa have made? An incredibly huge one.

With several scouts pegging Bosa as the best player in all of college football, he had the sort of game and dealt the kind of pressure that made quarterbacks uncomfortable from the beginning. It’s safe to say that Buckeye fans would have liked their chances a lot more if he actually played.

If he did, Bosa could have sent Urban Meyer out the door with a ring instead of a whimper.

Bolded: WTF Nick had a total of 17 sacks in his college career not 16 in one season. Also send UFM out with a whimper? Dude lost 1 game that year and was the rose bowl champions.

These dudes are terrible.

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa primed for big season

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa continues to rehab from an ACL injury. The third-year player began individual workouts at the team facility but has not joined team drills. The 49ers coaching staff believes he can bounce back to have a big season in 2021.

First-year defensive coordinator and former NFL linebacker DeMeco Ryans has been encouraged by what he has seen in individual workouts and believes the mental side of Bosa’s rehab will be the most important.

“On the side, it looks really good,” Ryans said, via 49ersWebZone.com. “I’ll say that his drills, all the individual stuff that he’s doing, he’s looking fast, he’s looking explosive. So it’s just a matter of any time guys come back off of injury, the biggest hurdle is always just mentally.”

Ryans understands the mental and physical toll a major injury can have on a player. He suffered a torn Achilles tendon in 2014 before returning for his final season in 2015.

“Like just falling on the ground and getting up and understanding that you’re OK,” said Ryans. “So most guys just have to go through that process. Once he goes through that and sees that he’s fine, then I think he’s going to be better than he was his rookie year.”
