Ohio State offers 2016 DE Nic Bosa
November, 6, 2012
By Brad Bournival | ESPN.com

Might there be another Bosa headed to Ohio State in four years?

That remains to be seen, but the Buckeyes threw their hat in the ring early with an offer to freshman defensive end Nic Bosa (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas).

Bosa is certainly not a strange last name to recruiting cirles as his brother Joey Bosa is an Under Armour All-American, ESPN 150 defensive tackle and 2013 Ohio State commit. His father, John Bosa was a a first-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in the 1987 NFL Draft.

Love it. Get the entire Mitchell and Bosa family to Columbus, and what is left of the Haden's!

As far as I know, John's dad still lives locally-here in Keene, NH. He was a very well respected doctor in the area (podiatrist I believe). All indications are that it is a great family.

Scout $ - Scouting Report: Nicholas Bosa

11/6

By The Bank...Nic's head coach thinks he has a chance to go down as the best player to ever come through STA...says Joey is a phenomenal talent but that Nic is more athletic and instinctive and is another weight room beast.

Very high praise. What's even more impressive is that Nic Bosa is 15 years old making noise for one of the best HS teams in South Florida. Gotta think that landing the older brother helps us here.

Nick Bosa matures quickly for St. Thomas Aquinas

St. Thomas Aquinas freshman Nick Bosa arrived for summer workouts with big shoes to fill and a familiar surname: His older brother, Joey, is one of the nation?s top defensive linemen who has committed to Ohio State. His father, John, was a first-round pick of the Dolphins.

Every weekday, Nick woke up at 6 a.m. to prove himself alongside guys who already had taken high school classes. Before the workouts, he spent time with a personal trainer who has helped NFL players.

It paid off when Nick became the seventh freshman ? joining Giovanni Bernard, Anthony Moten, Corey Holmes, Tony Sands, Keith Wilkerson and Slip Watkins ? to play for Aquinas.

^ Cannot even believe what Nic did to that level of competition as a freshman. Wow. Absolutely relentless player with all the physical tools to go with it. I love the family dynastys, lets get the Mitchell and Bosa pipeline to Columbus primed.

Agreed. Was that Joey wearing 97?

Nic has quick arm moves that give OL fits. I wouldn't mind seeing more and more commits coming out of St. Thomas Aquinas for the Buckeyes.
