DE Zach Harrison (All B1G, Atlanta Falcons)

It’s almost like someone who discovered he was an elite athlete late in life vs someone born hungry …to BE elite. Those guys are aggressive and it shows.

Fellow ‘19ers Drake Jackson (USC) & George Karlaftis (Purdue).

The injuries to Munford and Harrison, in particular, loom large if either of them miss extended time. Munford is the Buckeyes’ most experienced player and the leader of their offensive line, while Harrison played the most snaps of any defensive end in Ohio State’s first two games.

Day expressed optimism after Saturday’s game, though, that both of them would be back on the field sooner than later.

Day said the decision for Harrison not to play against Tulsa was made on Saturday morning. The Buckeyes are hoping to have Harrison back on the field next weekend against Akron.

2022 NFL Mock Draft: Malik Willis emerging as top quarterback

Oct 10, 11:07 PM

32. Zach Harrison, DE, Ohio State (Kansas State)

Just sayin': CBS Sports doesn't do a very good job of proofreading their stories......
Still, I'm surprised they have him in the 1st round. I really don't think he has played all that dominate or put up the big numbers so for this season.

I saw him as high as 11 after game 1 so he is dropping.

I dont see Harrison being a 1st or even 2nd round draft pick. 3rd is the highest I see him going and thats being generous. He has looked average this year with 8tkls and 1 sack in 6 games. No knock, just my opinion based on numbers. And I don't see him breaking out against our hardest teams

So, at this point, do you see him coming back for another year?

I hear you, but let's see what everything looks like by the end of the year. I truly feel that our kids were not being placed in a position to succeed in the early games this year. They now have that opportunity and it is up to them to make plays.

I agree the very first 2022 mocks had him between 11( wth) to 20. If he was playing to that …

Recent mocks no longer have him in the 1st...

I agree with him not being in the best position, but he should be talented enough to make up for it. Anything under double digit sacks is not a very good season for what Harrison was supposed to be coming in. 2 true frosh have as many sacks as him, and they haven't played nearly the same amount of snaps, the speaks quite loud. I'm rooting for Zach to break out as the season progresses, but with the young pups starting to bite, how confident can we be?
