You know what? Chicken butt.
Anyone ever find the irony of this phrase as it relates to recruiting....and roster management?

I was thinking what coaches must do during this period and I figured they must have their “let’s be honest” conversations with players. So I assume transfers come shortly after.

I realize the phrase pertains to recruiting but I couldn’t help but find the sad irony of how “dead period” fits those tough conversations as well.

Perhaps they should just call it Circle of Life period?

(sorry, first this that popped into my mind when I saw the thread title. I will see myself out.)

I hate roster management but it’s the game everyone plays in this “non professional” sport.

We are asking these guys to help make a bunch of money for a bunch of people while still trying to figure their own lives out and if it’s not working out well for the powers that be then........don’t let the door hit ya on the way out son. Pretty freaking brutal.
