Young man is clearly conflicted between wanting to visit other schools and honoring his word to Morris (and Swinney).

As a recruit, I would always question why a school would be so against me visiting somewhere else...makes it seem like they're afraid I might find something better.

As a coach, no way would I want my future franchise QB spending a weekend being courted by the likes of Meyer, Saban and others on their home turf.

Give him 8 weeks into the college football season when OSU is sitting @ no. 2 (behind in the polls and the urge to visit OSU and see what they have to offer will be too great.

I know, the theory would have been better if I had OSU @ no. 1 but come on, who are we kidding? It's Ohio State and we play in the Big 10. We may have to win 25 in a row before we see the no. 1 spot in the polls

I think, based on the quotes in the article, that he's done visiting other schools for good now. He sounded contrite, as if somehow he had done something wrong - which, of course, he hasn't.

Buckeye86 I do not choose to discuss it

It's embarrassing that the Clemson coaches are making him feel that way. He's a young man making the most important decision of his life. He should have access to every bit of information possible regarding that decision without feeling guilty about it.

y0yoyoin That is a serious injury for Willis McGahee

i agree with you on that...but he did go to visit Auburn...and if there is one school I would be worried about one of my recruits going to, then Auburn is on that list...I'm not saying they pay players, I'm just saying, It's Auburn

The first time a coach says "you have to gain our trust back," while going through the recruiting process, would be the last time we ever spoke.

Especially when a coach or 2 probably won't be there the entire time while deshaun is at Clemson...

Exactly. Can you imagine Morris saying that and then up and leaving while Watson is enrolled at Clemson? Talk about contradicting yourself.

With Morris being considered a strong candidate for Arky st....does his recruitment open back up at all?

I would imagine several schools are salivating at that thought.

Blake Anderson has accepted the HC position at Arkansas State. DeShaun is also planning on enrolling early at Clemson. I'd say this one is over.
