386 titan, I've had a mild obsession with this game since it came out. Love the Iron Banner, The new raid is pretty good, I haven't done the heroic mode yet. I'll give that a shot once I get my light up a bit more. I want that raid pulse and sniper.

Destiny 2 Beta is out this weekend. There's 1 story mission, 1 strike, and 2 crucible modes. It's a lot of fun if your into it. Weapon load out is different and weird but the gunplay is still pretty smooth. I did the story mission and had a blast. I haven't done the strike, probably do that tonight if I get the time. Crucible was different enough that I had a bit of a challenge adjusting.

Now that the Beta is over what were your impressions? I mostly liked it, but I have mixed feelings. Traditionally I'm big into PvP, but after the Beta I have concerns for PvP, which I'll save you from ranting about. But, now that the beta is wrapped up I'm really looking forward to PvE and being able to explore the open world areas. I've been really impressed with what I'm hearing about patrols, public events, roaming bosses, flash points, and the hidden sectors. They also have talked that treasure maps will be incorporated somehow in the open world spaces. I just going into this new game knowing I'll be able to discover new things and that alone has me looking forward to it. I took some time off work for the release. Lol

I only ran through the story mission and strike once. I liked the story mission a lot. The game play was familiar enough that there wasn't too much of a learning curve. I'm not 100% on the new weapon setup. It's cool to be able to run a hand cannon and scout rifle at the same time, but I liked the primary/special/heavy setup of Destiny 1. That and fusion rifles are now a power weapon? I imagine I could get used to it though. The PVP I didn't really care for. It was all team shoting. That's fine I guess if that's how they want it. I prefer going up against the man in the black pajamas mano y mano though. I liked the new supers. I always ran titan and felt they always got the short end of the stick where supers and melees where concerned (with the obvious exception of a short period of time when hammer bros ruled). Over all it was good. I'm not sure I'll get it though. I don't really have much time these days.
