I think they'll be fine. I can't see a lot of these teams in the Western Conference holding it together for an entire season. No way Edmonton is going to continue to play like this despite all the young talent they have.

Correct, 10-2 in the last 12. Big road swing coming up with 14 of the next 19 games away from the Joe. Datsyuk has finally begun to heat up but the big surprise is Filppula. He's 3rd on the team in points (21, 8 Goals & 13 Assists). The power play has been on fire of late as has Franzen. If he can stay healthy he's going to have a great year, if only.

It's still only December. They led the west for a lot of the season last year too and they still pussed out in the playoffs.
