The Latest: Lawrence is taking his time with his recruitment. The in-state schools along with Clemson, Ohio State, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Alabama, USC and others have made Lawrence a top priority.

The Skinny: Lawrence is an absolute beast and was too much for any of the offensive linemen at camp to handle. Nobody could stop his combination of size, strength, quickness and athleticism.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Five-star defensive tackle Rashan Gary of Paramus (N.J.) Catholic should be considered one of Ohio State's top recruiting targets in the 2016 class. However, things are trending away from the Buckeyes in Gary's recruitment.

So of course there is another five-star defensive tackle in Ohio State's sights.

The other one is Dexter Lawrence of Wake Forest, N.C., who is rated in the 247Sports composite rankings the No. 2 defensive tackle in the country, right behind Gary.

And unlike Gary, Lawrence has already announced his intentions to officially visit Ohio State on Nov. 21 for the Buckeyes' huge matchup with Michigan State.

That Ohio State official visit for the 6-foot-5, 330-pound Lawrence is happening only weeks before he plans to announce his college decision. According to 247Sports, Lawrence plans to announce Dec. 14 during a ceremony at his high school.
