He was responsible for Jim Jackson coming to tOSU, and during JJs time here they were not a shabby team.

Thats when I was there. They could of had a better team easily.
JJ was the onlything he did but, got 2 transfers Funderburke ,,name forgot the other.

How about samaki walker, gary trent, estaban weaver(GRADES), kenny gregory, those 3 centers that wenT to PSU and NW.
All ohio players.
He was almost as bad as Cooper in in state recruiting

He wouldn't have done 5% of Mattas magic

:tongue2: they just lost two in a row . But you know how he is about his favorites. I dare say the bucks will never be one of them.
actually, dookie v has been showing a lot of scarlet love this season. no team will ever supplant dook or unc, but the bucks have been a darling of his. that said, i know what you mean.

You could have fooled me from the way he has fawned over every opponent in the game(s) he has done

As long as he doesn't pull a Digger/Packer and call him Odom, I can stand to hear his love for the big guy.

Quite correct. Vitale has been in love with the bucks this year, mainly Oden.

even though its fun to watch games in which vitale calls, he really has a true distinct passion for college basketball and he loves the atmosphere the games have. but he cant hide the fact hes all over dukes nuts year in year out, yeah he gives other programs love but he basically gets on his knees for coach K. i dont think hes ever been more infatuated with any player more than J.J, it was like he wanted to make love to the guy, disgusting how he gives duke more love than anyone.

BASKETBALL
For once, Vitale might have opened his mouth too wide

LOS ANGELES TIMES

College basketball?s "real" season is upon us ? conference tournaments followed by the NCAA Tournament ? and, lo and behold, Dick Vitale has opened his mouth.
Vitale was enjoying a meal at a restaurant when a Tennessee radio station reached him for a quick interview. Vitale ended up munching on some filet of sole, as in the high-priced sneaker variety. Asked about Florida?s recent loss to Louisiana State, Vitale proceeded to reveal private comments Florida coach Billy Donovan supposedly made comparing his forwards, Joakim Noah and Al Horford.

LUBBOCK, Texas ? Coach Bob Knight is ticked off again, but it has nothing to do with his Texas Tech team.
He?s upset that broadcaster and longtime pal Dick Vitale keeps falling short in his bid to join Knight in the basketball Hall of Fame. So Knight, inducted in 1991, has lined up some big names to write letters to the Hall in a campaign for Vitale?s admission, including John Wooden, Pete Newell, Dean Smith, Mike Krzyzewski, John Chaney, Don Haskins, Lute Olson, Denny Crum, Jim Boeheim and Rick Barnes.
