Oh yeah. I think the workers get dumber every time I vote. It took 3 of them to verify that the name on my driver's license matched the name in their records. Somehow I have a feeling precinct A in Madeira, OH may have some questionable results due to volunteer "goofs" this year...

I voted last Friday. Not absentee per se, but we have 'early voting' here where the polls (note spelling, Taos :p ) are open for a week or two prior to the official 'election day'. No line, no hassle.

At least they actually ID'd you, the crack staff at my district didn't even bother ID'ing anyone. I just walked right in, gave them my name, signed the book and voted. But at least I was out of there in under 3 minutes.
