Yeah, because working for half of the year in a foreign land is really abandoning your family. I can't believe how selfish all of those foreign students at college campuses across America are to abandon family, culture, homeland, and "personal life."

"Chinaman" = "man from China"...."Chink" would be derogatory. He isn't an Asian-American. He isn't coming to America yet! Imagine a mod editing a post because it says "Chinaman". It's the same as "Ohioan"!

And the Eagles suck. Credence rules.

I don't call anyone any ___-american. People want unity, yet don't want to be called an american. fuck them too.

So what's your point?

I'm not saying that Chink is as derogatory as Chinaman.

The analogy I pointed out was:
black = porch monkey
chinese = chinaman

Notice it wasn't

black = ******
chinese = chinaman.

I'd equate ****** and chink.

my point is is that it is 'improper nomenclature.'

Black dudes don't like to be called porch monkeys, Chinese dudes don't like to be called chinamen.

It's as simple as that.

I'm not going to call it racist, because I don't know your feelings about Chinese people, and I don't think it was your intent to degrade Chinese people; but, I am going to call it insensitive because you're calling a Chinese person something that he doesn't wish to be called.
