Jerry Sandusky was back in court Monday seeking an appeal of his convictions and prison sentence.

The 72-year-old former Penn State Nittany Lions assistant coach is serving 30 to 60 years in prison after being found guilty of 45 counts of child sexual abuse in 2012.

This attempt for a new trial is based on Sandusky's attorney's claims that he was not given a fair trial or fair council by his former attorneys. Specifically, attorney Al Lindsay maintains the prosecutor in the orginal trial knew the identity of "Victim 2" in the case, though the prosecutor claimed at the time that he didn't. Lindsay wants to question Victim 2, witnesses and Sandusky's former attorneys.

Just wondering aloud.....

If he gets a new trial....... and is found to be not guilty.......

Do the victims (or whatever you want to call them) have to give the settlement money back?
Against whom do the Paternos file their wrongful death suit?

Only if Penn State fails to beat Nebraska.
Anyone who isn't a Penn State fan. In order to be considered a Penn State fan, a tough, but fair, exam will be given. Examinees must properly respond to the "WE ARE" chant, properly give the home address of a hated Big Ten referee, correct the examiner who refers to "Joe" as "Coach", name your favorite ice cream flavor at "the creamery" (hint: anything but "Peachy Paterno" is wrong), and must end every statement with "Burn in hell, Big Ten" (or Mark Emmert or Delaney or Ohio State or Michigan or Urban Meyer or pretty much anyone outside of Penn State), or "Praise Joesus!"
