Agreed...profiling is a very touchy subject, but in essence if you are truely concerned about the safety of yourself and others, then an extra check at the gate when traveling with 14 Middle Eastern friends should not be a problem. I didn't get offended when I got stopped several times in a Middle Eastern airport...at least I knew that someone was taking the time to check these things out.

I am against racial profiling when you are talking about pulling over a man just because he is an African-American. But when national security is at risk, I say strip search any person who is of Middle Eastern descent. I do not want to appear racist, because I am not, but this is the only way to decrease the threat of another attack.

You have no credibility but they allow you to post here so I suggest you try another mindless comment.

I understand that the Women part of the title has you confused. They are the sex that most of here have some type of mental and physical relationship with.

I am sure for $50 you could find a companion in Pittsburgh that would tolerate you presence if only for the time it would take you complete the dis-course.

Women's wall street? Quality publication to be sure.
So because you've never heard of a source we should throw out all the valid points made? Let's just say she made the whole thing up. What does that change? The rules are still the rules and the holes in the security are still holes.

If anyone actually wants to hear both sides of the story here's an interesting compilation of articles... some in support of the original post... some calling it a hoax.

I actually think the story sounds fishy, but the points raised are no less valid.

Tibs,

I am sure that "Bovine Wall St" would hold a much holier account in your eyes. The problem is that they haven't gotten the whole "hoove keyboard" thing down yet.

Profiling that saves lives and keeps women from having to cry their way through a flight, especially when history proves that there is a possibilty in my eyes is just.

So, just because something is written on the internet it's 100% true?
No doubt Norma McGill is greatful for all the gullible internet readers out there.

Tib's, let it go. I can't tell if you're mad because of the racial profiling comments, or because your camel finished last in the Baghdad Derby. Either way, you've probably had enough slurpees for today, so go ahead and close the seven-eleven, and try not to mug anyone on the way home.

I guess what really pisses me off about this, is that a guy can get thrown off a plane for wearing a tshirt with boobies on it but there is nothing that can be done about what was going on in this story? How is it that if boobies offend some one (I really can't understand being offended by this but to each his/her own I guess) then they have to leave the plane, but people can get on the plane, act suspiciously, and scare the hell out of everyone on the plane and "we can't do anything"????

That is just crazy, and for those who say "what about their rights?", I say fuck them what about mine!!!
