DK Royal Stadium versus the Shoe....

from what I hear, thats not even true, don't they have a sunken stadium?
True... I moreso meant for recruits... they might think it looks cool if they're retarded Michigan homers.

Anyway, still awaiting feedback about other bowl stadiums that are loud. I suspect scUMmers just don't know how to make as much noise.

Have you ever even been to Ohio Stadium?
No, but I will be at the Texas game......

If you look at publications regarding atmosphere, etc. Kyle Field is up there usually at #1 or not far behind.

The traditions is what makes Kyle Field unique against any other college in the nation.

It is VERY loud there as everyone yells in unison.

Against #1 Oklahoma in 2002 I believe........they almost beat the world record for the noise.

If you want to see some videos of the yells at A&M Kyle Field.......private message me and i'll send you some.

After Sept 11th....

In less than 3 days A&M organized "Red, White, and Blue OUT" (they usually have "Maroon OUT"

They organized selling these t-shirts and it was one of the most memorable thing I can remember as far as game day experience.

What school could organize something like this in less than 3 days?

A&M is also in plans to expand Kyle Field to 108,000 fans.

This is what it will look like.

An aggie, a sheep and a dog were survivors of a shipwreck. They found themselves stranded on a deserted island. After being there for awhile, they got into the habit of going to the beach every evening to watch the sun set.

One particular evening, the sky was a fiery red, with beautiful cirrus clouds , the breeze was warm and gentle; a perfect night for romance. As they sat there, the sheep started looking better and better to the aggie. Soon, he leaned over to the sheep and put his arm around it but the dog got jealous and began growling fiercely until the redneck took his arm off from around the sheep. After that, the three of them continued to enjoy the sunsets together...but there was no more cuddling.

A few weeks passed by and lo and behold...there was another shipwreck. The only survivor was a beautiful young woman. She was the most beautiful woman that the aggie had ever seen. She was in a pretty bad way when they rescued her, but they slowly nursed her back to health. When she was well enough...they introduced her to their evening beach ritual. It was another beautiful evening; red sky, cirrus clouds, a warm and gentle breeze........perfect for a night of romance. Pretty soon the aggie started to get " those feelings" again.
He fought them as long as he could, but he finally gave in and leaned over to the young woman, cautiously, and whispered in her ear................
" Would you mind taking the dog for a walk????"

In the same vein, I like how WACO capitalizes every LETTER IN HIS/HER NAME.

Regardless, I'm sure Kyle Field is plenty loud whenever they aren't losing 77-0.

I got no beef with the Ags, but remember, we (the Bucks) actually ARE going to Austin next year, not College Station.

I like A&M and all, but Kyle Field has nothing on Ohio Stadium.

World record? As in Guinness Book? The same illustrious record book that keeps track of those disgusting people who have 6-foot fingernails? The same illustrious record book that was witness to the largest group of people to ever do the Macarena? That's some excellent company, I must say. You can take all your decibels, and your 150,000-seat imaginary stadiums that haven't been built yet, and blow them out your ear. I'm just fine with other places being bigger, because I know who's BEST.

Even your own Kirk Herbstreit after the 2002 Oklahoma game says that Kyle Field has the #1 atmosphere.

How about dem apples.

The Utah football team (1-0) will have to deal with 82,600 screaming fans along with a very talented Texas A&M football team this Saturday evening, and the team knows that getting through the environment at Kyle Field will be an extremely difficult task.

CBS Sportsline.com recently labeled Kyle Field as the best stadium in the country, and ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit called Aggies fans the nation's best-and for good reason.

Labeled as the "12th Man," Kyle Field is enormous and deafening.
