DL Adam Bellamy (R.I.P.)

I was high on Bellamy early and at one point said he would be the next Ohio kid to get offered...I kinda forgot about him, and left him off my last top 30 list because I forgot about him, but he is a very good player, and he is a top 15 player in the state...I have him above Muldoon...

Welcome to the family, Adam!

Now, don't even bother to waste your time in Ann Arbor this weekend !

Unless, of course, Adam intends to do a bit of recruiting for OSU, in which case, have fun in Ann Arbor! :p

It's important to remember this....

The staff saw him at camp up-close. They worked him out hard and looked at each and every part of his game. Within 24 hrs of leaving, he had an offer. I think that right there says it all...even more than what you see on film.
Good way to sum up an important point their HotMic - this class of bigs keeps getting better and better.

Welcome aboard young Mr. Bellamy. :oh:

Congrats Adam!

One of my great friends from college had Aurora's HC as his high school QB coach and he keeps in touch w/ him.

from an email earlier today (not earth shattering, but it was @ 9:07AM):

Small world, my High School QB coach and offensive coordinator in high school has been Aurora's head coach for the last 6 years (3 state playoff appearances in the last 3 years). I played phone tag with him yesterday and Bob (the head coach) said he talked with Bollman and Tressel, they offered the kid at their camp. He will make a decision no later than weeks end.Bob says he?ll commit.

Bellamy is actually from Boston, moved to Cleveland in 8th grade. He is a hockey player (James Lauranitis anyone) and baseball (1st base). Bob said he is a great kid, explosive motor and a good student (4.0 GPA).
