Mooney seems to be having an awful lot of talent lately. What are the particulars of the school? Private / Parochial? They seem to have most of the talent coming out of Y-Town (Please split if necessary)

A little bit late on the reply, but the school's full name is Youngstown Cardinal Mooney - it's parochial.

They are a Division IV school and part of the Steel Valley Conference. Mooney has six state championships (1973, 1980, 1982, 1987, 2004, and 2006).

Also they ARE getting the most talent from Youngstown, recruiting does go on quite a bit around here.

Wow...amazing thing is that Simon was only a sophmore in that film. Absolute stud and should be near the top player in Ohio for '09. Very early offer imo. Great first step, good leverage, and gets penetration in the backfield in a hurry. He also seems to have excellent football smarts in getting down the line in zone blocking to take down the runner. He looked good at guard but his future is definetly at DT. DT should be loaded in Ohio in '09 with Simon and Marcus Hall.

Do you think we could be set with only 1, maybe 2 DT, in '08 depending on who slides inside this year? Simon and Hall seem to be high on a lot of people's boards for the '09 class.

Could be the case...I think 2 this year is what we'll be looking for. Mobley and Goebell are the idealistic DT's but I really want to see us get Rowell. Perhaps Mobley goes to Minnesota anyways. So yes, this could be the case because Simon and Hall are studs. I think both could receive an offer this year if they were in the '08 class...they are that good.
