M fans are crying and tweeting Mike Teel saying he steered Tyler to OSU or otherwise he'd be committed to them.
That's one of the main themes in the Alternate Reality Up North.

Here are some more (paraphrased from MGoBlow):

"Wasn't that impressed with his film - not elite - overrated - not a huge loss for us." (They say this after every huge recruiting loss)

"Michigan's staff cooled on him." (So Michigan recruited Friday for 2+ years and then dropped him 2 weeks before Signing Day. Sure....)

"Ohio State used negative recruiting to land Friday." (You're an irrelevant program with a deranged head coach - get used to the negative recruiting)

"Friday couldn't handle the academic rigors of Michigan." (As if only a bona fide genius can complete the kinesiology program at Washtenaw Tech)

"He couldn't crack our depth chart - he chose Ohio State for early playing time." (A kid choosing Ohio State for early playing time? That's a new one!)

In the end, 90% of them managed to convince themselves that Jimbo's three-stars will out-perform Urban's five-stars, so losing a top-100 recruit at a position of desperate need was no big deal. They'll just sign Nicholas Petit-Frere instead (no, really, they will).
