but a few weeks ago there was a thread about 'who here cheats?' and i simply wrote a few tidbits about how i don't generally cheat but had a few times. it wasn't in bragging manner or any manner really...it was just matter-of-factly...and some homo for some reason was bothered by my cheating. i don't get it...what kind of guy is bothered by my cheating on a few girls...which if anything i was kind of apologetic about and stressed that i don't do often.

so whoever you are...grow a pair of balls next time and sign your name. the whole thing seems bizarre to me...the only thing that would make sense is if it was the girl i cheated on who gave me the red chicklet, but i know that's not the case...i'm 100% sure she doesn't post here...

I don't really care if someone doesn't sign their rep, but I like them to include a reason ex: "I agree you are right", "your an ass hole", "your a moron", "you don't know what your talking about". I use the rep system as a way to convey what I feel about what other people have posted, and what other people think about what I have posted. It is pretty useless to me if there is no feed back included with it, (either good rep or bad rep). In the past when I have received blank rep about a post that I made I might go back and edit the post and ask who ever repped me to explain what they liked or didn't like.

(my apologies i didn't mean for this to be such a discourse, but it kinda turned into it!!)

i'm just curious how somebody who started a thread about this is still green, i find that to be shocking.........personally i'm with Oiler and i just don't see the point in dinging someone unless they are WAYYYY out of line, i don't get any satisfaction on trying to tear someone down unless they really deserve it

there will probably be backlash for this, but i HAVE TO SAY: dinging someone for talking about dinging is also just plain ridiculous IMHO..........i think the same end can be accomplished through a PM, there is no reason to potentially ruin a newbie's experience on BP who didn't know it was a big "No-No"........i made a "JOKE" about a ding and got bombarded just for bringing it up......if my ego was fragile, i may have stopped coming here from that alone.........it didn't become clear to me until about 2 weeks ago when 3yards explained to me in a PM why it's such "No-No", but those that aren't familiar w/ the board don't realize why

i guess what i'm saying is you should cut some slack to newbs who bring it up, and don't realize why it's such a big deal, or atleast just send a PM..........additionally, FWIW, i personally don't understand the problem with it being mentioned from here to there, particularly if it's something of interest that could make for an interesting discussion (such as the guy saying he got dinged for suggesting Gwaltney wasn't coming here, that's funny to me)............as long as it's moderated and not out of control, i just don't see the issue, and why it has to be enforced so harshly, especially the "vigilante" force

on a related note, BuckeyeNation27, how many times have you dinged me now for simply mentioning the subject? what are we up to 5? 6? i lost count........do i get another one for this post? i noticed you haven't tried to ram your hard-on for me up my ass lately, isn't it about time?

Its comical to see people complain about anonymous dings...make sure your closet is empty when you make that whine. Many people use the anonymous ding...

I have left anonymous dings...sometimes accidental, sometimes on purpose.

As stated before, if its an issue, turn it off.
