DT Adolphus "Diesel" Washington (Official Thread)

Led by star defensive end Adolphus Washington, Taft (2-2) jumped to the front of the line as the favorite to win the conference championship. In the preseason, Withrow was picked by the league coaches to repeat as CMAC champion, with Taft predicted to finish second.

The mammoth-sized Washington, highly recruited in both football and basketball, recorded sacks on consecutive plays late in the first quarter. Both times, the 6-foot-4, 245-pound Washington surged through the middle of the line unencumbered to drop Moore, who came into Friday averaging 300 yards passing. The sacks ? which combined resulted in a loss of 13 yards ? ignited the crowd.

Well I'm gonna assume they will offer him. I think he is too good to pass on.

Agreed 100%...the timing of offers is all skewed this year because of the new rule...there are probably plenty of kids out there with verbal offers that don't really know about them and vice versa.
