Awesome. Among Alabi, Landers, and Hamilton, someone will likely be a very good DT.
Agreed. I think Alabi has the most upside but he is a total project. The other two are guys that can flourish with the right coaching and conditioning. Onwenu and Gary seem to be the top two DT targets for 2016 to go along with Dexter Lawrence, Michael Williams and Julian Rochester. And more names will emerge...

Neat story on 11W:

OUR WORST COMMIT IS THE BEST!

The Ohio State Buckeyes (Non-Kicker) version of Mr. Irrelevant in each of the past 3 classes, that we can count, has become an impact player.

In 2014 Darius Slade was the worst ranked recruit according to 247 composite rankings. He redshirted so we don't know yet.

In 2013 Darron Lee tied with Grown and Sexy for the lowest rated recruit, and we know he has turned into one of the best defenders in the B1G even though he was snubbed by all the coach/media outlets. (BTW the last 6 in that 13 class may end up being special if Munger, Lewis and Smith all start next year) (Sprinkle, Lee, Worley, T. Lewis, Munger, and Corey Smith)

In 2012 the lowest rated recruit was Pat Elflein who was an 84 and the 980th recruit in the nation.

In 2011 the lowest rated recruit was Michael Thomas, an 81 and unranked in the nation. Michael proved that his low rating was just people being dumb and not a fluke by having the exact same number the next year on Scout. His composite rose so he came in second to Elflein in 2012.

All that said, This year's lowest rated recruit is DaVon Hamilton. With Urban at the helm, we can get excited about him too not just the (slight) possibility of Beckner. There is no filler in this class no matter where it ends up being ranked.

Landers and Hamilton were obviously back-up options to guys like Gallimore, Beckner and Wilkins. Arnette is clearly a guy they had behind Davis. Does that mean they can't play at OSU? Absolutely not. I know the staff is especially high on Landers. Now it becomes the OSU staff's job to develop these kids into the players they were looking for from the outset. But every team has guys they land that were at the top of the board and guys that weren't. Nobody bats 1.000.
