DT Donovan Munger (Official Thread)

ESPN - Donovan Munger has top 11, plans visit

11/2

Do not let Shaker Heights (Ohio) lineman Donovan Munger's size fool you. The imposing, 6-foot-3, 280-pound two-way star is soft-spoken and aims to please.

The latter of those two traits is the reason why Munger's list was "cut" to 11 recently, and there is a good chance that list increases before it decreases.

The ESPN 300 defensive tackle's coach, Jarvis Gibson, said Munger's top 11, in no order, consists of USC, Ohio State, Michigan State, Tennessee, UCLA, West Virginia, Louisville, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Georgia and Pittsburgh. The Trojans are the only team that has not offered, but Gibson is expecting a call from the staff Friday night as Munger has already talked with an assistant at USC.

enjoyed his visit but still hasn't narrowed his list...

Coach: Munger enjoys 'on-field' scene

For Donovan Munger (Shaker Heights, Ohio/Shaker Heights) it?s been a rivalry month, so to speak.

An ESPN 300 defensive tackle with several Division I suitors, he took in the Ohio State-Michigan game Saturday.

It came on the heels of an official visit to the Rose Bowl to see UCLA take on USC the previous weekend.

I would be very happy to see this dude in S&G

He might not polished, but this is the type of guy who wins you NC's, and that is on either side of the ball, but especially as monster in the middle on D. You basically guarantee yourself as a D line will not be man handled by no one. I have been keeping an eye on him and hoping the coaches do not fall asleep on him. I am excited to hear he is visiting for an official.
