With the end of the one-and-done era expected to come by the 2022 NBA draft, Krzyzewski grilled the NCAA's lack of plan and vision for the future of the sport.
"The NCAA is not prepared right now," Krzyzewski said. "They need to be in concert with the NBA in developing a plan that is specific for men's college basketball."
Essentially, Krzyzewski said college basketball needs to be run more like a business in the face of increased competition, calling for a "new model" for the sport."

I said "almost" which infers the infinite
Well, smart guy, it’s your job to imply. I decide if I want to infer anything. And be assured, using “almost” as a modifier only served to indicate that you have a specific amount of hatred for Michigan.

So does Nike favor sending top hoops recruits to Duke in particular, or is it more Coach K putting the screws to Nike and twisting their arm to get the top recruits? Maybe 50-50? I am genuinely interested in learning more about the variance, if any, in how much Nike pays to get recruits certain places, and what their grounds for favoring certain programs is.

I'm assuming Nike schools reach out to Nike when a kid is close. It'd be interesting to go back and see the recruiting battles for top prospects....and if they were Nike school vs Adidas school.
