That wasn't the point I was making though..I just find it odd that so many of these wolverine recruits are jawing it up so much is all...and without even playing a down in THE GAME. We all know you can't take anything for granted in this rivalry as it is..I just hope our players don't offer up so much bulletin board material for them is all.
I have a feeling why we're hearing all this jawing is because of the rhetoric those recruits are hearing from their new "fearless leader".

Well, gosh. A six point win after losing the last ten in a row certainly merits some sort of celebratory expression of glee.....

I'm a bit flummoxed, OSU vs Indiana used to be a bloody battle, not because IU was so good, but because the IU team were mostly Ohio kids that OSU did not recruit. It seems like most of the Meatchicken kids at least had a 'tentative' offer from Urban, but chose not to wait but to get their ticket punched from the Wolverweenies. That is the confusing part, at least to me. If one chooses 'the bird in the hand' versus the 'two in the bush' concept, so be it, but don't go around bragging how you're going to kick someone's keister (when you have never played a down at that level) - can be somewhat embarassing.

The only redeeming thought I can muster is that these Ahia kids are showing that they are buying into the School Up North's program, and that, oh yeah, beating OSU is part of that program....as opposed to "Ohio State isn't even our biggest rival anymore". Maybe they are showing that they 'get it'.....heck gotta think well of Ahia kids, even if they are a bit misguided. U of Michigan is an excellent school, but their athletic talent level isn't what OSU's is right now, so a free ride with a good diploma and maybe being to start immediately has to be enticing to many kids. Waiting two years for the current stars to graduate and get to play can be an eternity to a kid who only has 18 summers under their belts....

:gobucks3::gobucks4::banger: Maybe they get more for selling swag up there?

You do realize that we're talking about 16, 17 and 18yo kids right? I don't think they're thinking about comments made while in high school and how that affects anything when they not only get to college, but get significant pt. Im sure osu recruits have said things as well regarding Michigan but they just haven't been posted. This stuff happens all the time and to many different and the fans get all riled up and coaches just roll their eyes and current players know this means nothing. I highly doubt braxton miller is worrying about comments made from a soon to be HS senior. His comments should make us laugh and then move on to worrying about our own recruits.

It doesn't mean nothing to a lot of players. I'll bet that it's mentioned by an incoming frosh after The Game during their career. It doesn't mean we should all freak out about it.

If a tOSU recruit says anything at all regarding tOSU, it's posted, so your theory is bull mess.
