This is the quietest its been in recent memory for OSU Basketball recruiting. No commits for the 2012 season...yet.

Any rumors of anyone signing?
I am getting the feeling that if Thad does not land Tony Parker that he might just bank the scholarships for next year. There certainly is enough talent on this team to keep them in contention without adding on and maybe Sully might want to stay one more year:wink:

That has been my thought for some time but wasn't too sure. Parker or another top prospect but no more than one signee at this point.

Take into the state of the NBA (makes the NFL look like a minor spat) and that could change the the face of college basketball for the better.

Wouldn't break my heart to see the NBA fold to be honest.

I think we land Tony Parker.

Also in play is Amile Jefferson.

If we don't land Parker, I think our chances with AJ increase but we're not likely to see Matta reach in this class with a solid '13 waiting including Marc Loving, Brannen Green, Malik Price-Martin, and Chris Walker, to go along with in-state prospects Tony Farmer and Devin Williams.

We could technically sign both Parker and Jefferson but one or none is most likely.

With the assumption that Sully and Buford are the only 2 that leave after this season, that still leaves an 11-man roster with 9 being very capable B1G players if Matta doesnt sign anyone for the '12 class.

'14 is also stacked so missing on Parker wouldn't kill us unless more than Sully and Buford leave.
