I'm not gullible, but I also really want to go to this game. Tell me your guys thoughts about the following...this is an email train that I started after viewing an auction on ebay. Start at the bottom. Thoughts? I shouldn't go forward with this, should I?

That's a scam. eBay doesn't contact you for anything. Hopefully you didn't give him your name and address.

It looks pretty shady to me. I would never buy anything that the individual himself does not have on hand. Secondly, you can't negotiate a price outside of ebay and then run the transaction through them, that's not how the system works. This is definately a Buyer Beware situation. I would not send them anything, especially not money or personal information.

Yes if you have ever been on Craigslist or something like that man, the number one scam is people trying to get your personal information and then having you send them money via Western Union. Your money is never guaranteed when you use WU dude so I would leave it alone.

Thanks for the advice, fellas, but once I received the above-posted email, I knew it was a scam.

As a follow-up, I contacted ebay (who obviously confirmed fraud), and they are pursuing this guy and have reported him to the proper "authorities". Additionally, apparently Sherry Baker's account is legit, but was hacked by this guy. Damnitalltohell. I need a ticket to this game in the worst way.
