Wanna make $14 the hard way?
Heard Edgerrin's agent say that Edge was interested in joining the Brownies. A few "experts" have dismissed it as being idle B.S., What do you guys think? Would Cleveland be interested in yet another Miami player?

Also, where do you think Plex Burress is going to end up? He fired his agent and signed on with Drew Rosenhaus, if I'm not mistaken.

I take those comments with a grain of salt, his agent mentioned about six teams and Cleveland was the last one he mentioned. I don't think the Browns would be willing to try to sign him to a long term deal like he wants, for the simple fact that the Browns are in rebuilding mode and his price would be high.

It would be nice to have him though, he is a great running back. :wink2:

No way James would come to Cleveland to run behind that offensive line.

Or in the snow. I think Savage has already said this is going nowhere.

I don't see Burress ending up in a Browns uniform. Too much of a "me" player instead of the "team" players the new administration is focusing on.

Sounds like everyone is pretty much in agreement that James will go elsewhere.

Burress is going to have a hard time latching on anywhere, if he continues to hold out for the kind of money he's expecting. I've read that the Giants offered him a 4 year, $21M contract, with an $8M signing bonus. He turned it down.

Burress also just fired his most recent agent and is on something like his fifth in three years. He loses a week in FA because there is a period before the new agent can start officially working for the client. Also, I guess his trend to hire and fire agents can cause some front offices to be concerned about his stability and maturity. He definitely is not helping himself, but I don't feel too bad for people who turn down multi-million dollar contracts.
