Anyone else planning on playing this for PC at launch? April 4th is the release date I believe for PC and then after that XB1 and PS4.

I have played Morrowind and Oblivion. I am still debating Skyrim due to free time available. I might do this. I need to read up on it. Is it like WOW or Everquest?

Skyrim is super awesome but can take up big chunks of time if you let it. I added lots of random character and place mods for a leisurely second run and enjoy finding new surprises when wandering. I play very rarely now, but sometimes when I need a break I'll still hop in there and run around, just enjoying the views.

Sign up for the ESO beta if you haven't already. I hear the next PC one is going to need big crowds, and the console one is open now, too.

Count me among those who wish they were working on another single-player game instead of an MMO. I'm sure it will be awesome, I just don't like online multiplayer.

I wouldn't really compare it to either. If I had to compare it to anything I would say Guild Wars 2 but more story focused instead of RvR focused. This also has 3 factions as opposed to 2. I haven't played the game yet though so take this all with a grain of salt.

I will be playing along with some buddies as well as the guild I play WoW with.

I probably will preorder and get it on realease day. I'm a sucker for Elder Scrolls games. I always played them on the PC so I can add mods. So I'll likely go PC with this too.

I pre-ordered. The five day early entrance means I can start playing on my birthday (or would, except I'll be giving that birthday to NJ in retaliation). I can start a BP guild if anyone is interested (you can have 4) - name suggestions?

Oh, and just saw this in email: 25% off with code E0VXS0-T1IEIV-CZHSPO from Green Man Gaming. Amazon isn't a deal at the moment ($99 for Imperial version vs. $79 full price on the official site), but I put it in my cart to see when they add that discount.

Well I have a rather large group of people I am already planning on playing with. Not sure which faction we are going to be playing yet but if you guys don't have guilds you're playing with - feel free to choose same as us and we can play together also.

To give up my social life or not? That is the question.

Wait - does playing with friends while on vent count as a social life?!??

Not sure. BP does, though - you can bet your bippy on that.

The betas are getting big, so sign up if you want in. If you don't have an invite for this weekend, you can try registering at Curse, where they have 500,000 beta keys to give out (premium members today, free members starting tomorrow).

I should be around this weekend to play hopefully at least a little bit.

Played a little bit this morning. Very similar to Skyrim so far. Haven't really interacted with other players yet though. It's sort of funny watching other people jump around and run in to things though while they're learning what the new key functions are (i'm doing the same thing). One thing that will be integral for me to learn, that I know I won't do well off the bat, is communicating by chatting. I am so used to just putting on my xbox headset and talking directly to people.

Yeah I have been playing today with a few buddies of mine. Just got out of the tutorial area though so haven't done any group stuff yet. Just sitting in my vent server BS'ing about the game. If anyone playing wants to hop on my vent while playing shoot me a PM for the info.

edit: switched over to Teamspeak since I can host a TS3 server and not be restricted to 8 users (ventrilo caps personal servers at 8; Teamspeak is 32).

Um...watched the preview on my XB1...and this looks ridiculous. I'd rather have the offline version, but I may play this
