Scout $ - Daniel Is A Top Prospect for 2013
Bill Greene of SuperPrep.com, Mar 3, 2010

Considering he was one of the youngest in attendance, Daniel understandably had some trouble with 1on1s at the Michigan Showcase... You can't teach his size, speed, & athleticism though... His coach is already fielding inquiries from Ohio State, Georgia, Tennessee, Iowa, Michigan St., & Purdue... He's interested in OSU because "they win all the time" & a coach has already visited his school to check on him...

Rivals $ - Visit on tap for Daniel

10/4

From the ND site...wants to play down south...visited UF for the Alabama game and left with an offer...also has offers from Indiana, Iowa, Marshall and Purdue and interest from Alabama, Florida State, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State and Tennessee...will visit ND for the USC game.

Elijah Daniel, Avon: The 6-4, 250-pound defensive end picked up offers this month from Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi and Syracuse to add to an impressive list of more than a dozen offers. The teams to beat, according to Daniel, may be Florida, Michigan State and Ohio State. He visited Florida and Michigan State for games last fall and hopes to make it to Ohio State in the spring.

"I have a good relationship with the position coach at all those schools," Daniel said.

Daniel said he plans to make a decision by late in his senior season or after the season. Avon is expected to be one of the top teams in Class 5A.
